Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DZ Portal ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. DZ Portal is operated by FDZ Algeria as an independent community project.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. By registering an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You may not create accounts for the purpose of harassment, impersonation, or abuse.
  • One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be suspended.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
  • Attempt to manipulate statistics, rankings, or match data.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract Platform data at scale.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its systems.
  • Post or distribute offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content.
  • Impersonate other players, teams, or Platform staff.

5. Tournament Participation

Participation in tournaments organized through or in partnership with DZ Portal is subject to the specific rules published for each tournament. By entering a tournament, you agree to its ruleset. Cheating, match-fixing, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in permanent removal from the Platform.

6. Content & Data

Player statistics, match history, and rankings displayed on the Platform are sourced from the FACEIT Data API and are publicly available information. DZ Portal does not claim ownership over this data. User-submitted content (bios, team descriptions) remains your property, but you grant us a license to display it on the Platform.

7. Disclaimers

  • DZ Portal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of player statistics.
  • The Platform may experience downtime for maintenance or unexpected reasons.
  • DZ Portal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or FACEIT Ltd.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms of Service, without prior notice. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FDZ Algeria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of tournament eligibility.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Algeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Algerian courts.
